“Dancer- LIVE"

Bio: Angela Autumn is an Appalachian born musician and writer based in Nashville, TN. She grew up playing anything from ska to rock, but now, living in Nashville, she veers towards the bluegrass side of Americana and country. She has released several albums, including ‘Cowboy Jack Clementine’ (2023) which has been praised for its unique blend of folk and country. Her music is heavily influenced by traditional folk and primitive music.

“You think of Appalachia women like Angela Autumn who in some respects reminds you of Sierra Ferrell, and has every bit of the talent of Oliver Anthony and others. What the youTube algorithm latches onto and the general public gets behind sometimes feels so capricious and mercurial, and it’s not always talent that determines who and what is graced with attention. It’s often just timing. Timing and the political quotient is definitely at work behind Oliver Anthony’s moment. Perhaps the difference though is talent too.” Saving Country Music, August 2023.

“Wheel of Love- LIVE"

Bio: Written in the midst of deep personal tragedy and dramatic emotional upheaval, Altameda’s stunning new album, Born Losers, is a meditation on change, loss, and growth, but more than that, it’s a reckoning with mortality, a call to live while we’re still alive. The music here is more subtle and nuanced than ever before, with raw, candid performances arriving wrapped inside gorgeous, gently atmospheric arrangements, and the lyrics showcase a similar leap in scope and maturity, grappling with our dueling desires for connection and escape through visceral, cinematic imagery that finds meaning in the mundane. Recorded with producer Thomas D’Arcy (Neko Case, The Sheepdogs) and mixed by studio wiz Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, Whitney, REM), Born Losers marks Altameda’s first release since relocating to Toronto, as well as their first collection as a duo.

“The Other Side of Tennessee- LIVE"

Bio: Currently based in Bristol, VA/ TN, and originally from the Pines of North Carolina, (just south of Piedmont in Carthage, NC) Momma Molasses' music is soul stirringly resonate, and smothered in good old fashioned folk sentiment; blending Americana, Old-Time, Alt-Country, PiedmontBlues, Swing, Appalachian, and Bluegrass music into a uniquely timeless sound. Harnessing her rolling contralto voice which scales over homespun finger-picked guitar, her sound is warm, rich, and passionate, with songs that embrace, and captivate listeners.
Momma Molasses is the musical project of singer-songwriter Ellen "Ella" Patrick. Growing up with a deep love of music, Patrick began playing stringed instruments at an early age while singing gospel music in church and learning folk ballads from her parent's dusty late 60’s record collection. She spent most of her childhood summers in a Swamp south of her home in Moore County, where she began playing for friends around the campfire, or sneaking out in canoes after dark to sing by herself to the moon. While in college at Warren Wilson, just outside of Asheville, NC Patrick became greatly influenced by Appalachian folk music and took classes in old-time, murder ballad singing, and bluegrass music.
